As a 13-year veteran of hotel maintenance, I have developed numerous programs that have improved the operations of the hotel and efficiency of the staff. However, until recently, I was oblivious to an ongoing safety issue and guest inconvenience...."THE LOCKED BATHROOM DOOR". 

Although rare, I have been confronted with this problem when guests accidently lock themselves OUT or, more seriously, when children lock themselves IN.  Usually, the response of the front desk staff is to call someone in maintenance...EVEN AT HOME after working hours.

Fortunately, during my watch, nothing serious has befallen any guests in these circumstances. Also, as a retired 20 year public safety officer, I recognize the value of immediate action in emergency situations.

That is why I designed, developed and produced the 'EmergenKEY' to be made available in every hotel room, apartment, Nursing Home and Public Housing in the event an emergency should occur behind the locked bathroom door and, in some cases, the locked bedroom door.

No more waiting for someone to respond in an hour or so.  And heaven forbid that you have to pay a Locksmith $50-$70 to open it for you.
